About Me...

My mother always told me I was born 100 years too late. She thought I would have been happiest had I been born in the horse and buggy era and lived where I was surrounded by wide open spaces. She knew me well.

Almosta Farm

I have always wanted a farm of my own. In 2001 I acquired a five acre alfalfa field. Once my home was built I began planting a lawn and some trees. I built a corral which doubles as a goat pen and I acquired an old chicken coop. My kids and some kind neighbors helped build a couple of loafing sheds which house my horses and my growing population of goats. Slowly but surely my little five acres is becoming a farm. It is almost the farm I have always wanted. I know with patience and persistence it will some day become that farm. For now I just lovingly refer to my place as Almosta Farm.

My Blog

FarmFancy.com is still under construction. When it is finished I hope it will be a great resource for information sharing and clever conversation. Until then I use my blog to keep in touch with family and friends, old and new. Anyone who is referred to or stumbles onto this site should feel free to leave comments or email me if they find something interesting.

Thanks for taking time to share. TTFN :)
