Another Quick Update

Even though I have been working full time hours, (and then some), I have been classified as a part time employee. There have been some changes in staffing and I am now classified as a full time employee, (just since Nov 12). I will be working a variable schedule, some 7pm to 7am shifts, some 6pm to 2am shifts and an occasional 4pm to 2am shift. Generally speaking, I will have every other weekend off. I have been working every weekend which has really grown tiresome. Especially since I haven't been able to go to church! I am really looking forward to being able to enjoy some church meetings.

I have the sweetest new puppy ever! I have been browsing around for a small breed puppy for some time. I had been looking for a little girl, preferably a Boston bull terrier, but no luck. Well, on one of my pet store excursions I came across a little red dachshund, a little boy. The pet store guy let him out of his little cage for me and my friend to look at and out of a crowd of people (well, 3 people) he ran right over to me all happy and cute. I made the mistake of picking him up and the rest is history. I simply couldn't resist his sweet puppy smell, his soft wrinkly coat and he is the most snuggly little fellow ever! His favorite thing is to burrow his little head into my neck just over my shoulder. Even though he is a mini dachshund he will probably be a little bigger than I had wanted. He won't necessarily be taller but he will certainly be longer. I call him Rusty (short for Rusty the Rustling Digger Dog). I do have a few pictures and if I ever find the patience I will try to put some on my blog. Okey dokey?

TTFN :)

Yay! So great to hear your voice as usual. I like even these little updates. I wish you didn't have to work so much and that you didn't have to work such awful hours. I know that nights tend to work well for you, but its a proven fact that graveyard workers suffer physically, emotionally, etc, etc. I hope you can get a better spot someday soon. That is ridiculous by the way that you just barely became a full time gal. I don't get it. You work like crazy and have been for months and months. I hope you are still enjoying things at Holy Rosary. Your new puppy sounds like a little gem. I'm so glad you got him and I can't wait to meet him. Love you.
